Chin Hwi
Ang - Drawing
on her Australian/Chinese-Malaysian cultural heritage,
Chin-Hwi brings to the band a diverse and varied style
of musical performance.
In 2004 Chin-Hwi embarked a journey of musical discovery,
taking in London, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Singapore...
now she's headed off to the "Outback"!
Whilst fiddling, you will find Chin-Hwi at Angamus Music
Studio, where she tutors violin and piano. She is also
the Strings Specialist at Lathams Music Kotara.
Brett Lambkin
- Lead vocals, guitar, keyboard, didgeridoo, bass, mandolin,
bodhran.
Brett has been with the band since March 1989 when it
was formed. He began as a keyboard player singing backing
vocals, then moved to bass guitar during the early 90s,
and on to lead vocals in the mid 90s, picking up guitar
along the way. Brett is also a High School Teacher, Gym
Instructor and competitive cyclist. Brett took out the
award for the Leading Individual Outstanding Performer
during the Fosters Battle of the Bush (2000) in Tamworth
and has supported international artists such as Foster
and Allen, The Fureys, Colin Buchanan, Billy Thorpe and
Eric Bogle.
Frances
Lambkin - largerphone, keyboard, vocals.
By day a psychologist, by night a largophonist, Frances
has also studied at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music
on the piano and is quickly becoming accomplished on the
'Murrumbidgee Rattler'. Singing Kasey Chambers songs in
a country band is her idea of heaven (those of you who
know her may find this a little amusing).
